Continuing Legal Education (CLE):
The Duval County Law Library maintains a collection of Florida Bar Association CLE programs for circulation to the legal professional community. This collection encompasses a variety of topics and is updated periodically. The programs are in CD format with some CLE’s containing a USB flash drives in lieu of print support materials. The collection is searchable in the Library Catalog under the title of CLE courses. Details for CLE courses are available on the Florida Bar website:

Items may be checked-out on a first-come-first-serve basis for ten days for a non-refundable fee of $40.00. Overdue fines begin on the eleventh day and accrue at a fee of $2.00 per day. Any items kept over forty-five days will be designated as “Lost,” and the user will be billed the price listed on the Florida Bar website for that item (current CLE titles in the Law Library collection range from $105 to $530). If the item is no longer offered by the Florida Bar or is expired, the user will be billed $150.00..

The Florida Bar Association provides the annual “Survey of Florida” free of charge. While there is no fee to borrow this item, overdue fines and fees stated above do apply.
