The Office of the Court Administrator for the State of Florida, Fourth Judicial Circuit, provides critical support to the judicial system in Duval, Clay and Nassau Counties. Utilizing a team approach, the Court Administrator provides physical facilities as well as human, financial, and information resources to the judges, judicial staff, attorneys and the public.
The Court Administrator implements the policies of the Chief Judge by communicating and directing these policies to the Court staff and others. Likewise, the Court Administrator communicates the issues and needs of the judges, staff and others to the Chief Judge. The Court Administrator manages the business of the Court by making executive decisions necessary to operate and develop the Court and maintaining an effective communication system to provide for the dissemination of policies and information.
The administrative staff of the Court Administrator's Office is responsible for the planning and development of the court services and programs. It is responsible for communicating the administrative plans and procedures to all the judges, constitutional officers, court staff and others as required. The administrative staff provides the following services:
